Terms of Service

The rules for using SlideForge: acceptable use, academic honesty, AI-generated content, free-tier limits and how the service can change over time.

Accepting these terms

By using slideforge.in — browsing it, using a free tool, or creating a presentation — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

What SlideForge is

SlideForge turns a topic into a presentation: an outline, then slide content, then a designed deck you can download as an editable PowerPoint file and as a PDF. It also offers a set of free study tools that run alongside the generator. SlideForge is free to use right now. If paid options are introduced later, the price is always shown clearly before you commit to anything.

Accounts and free tools

You do not need an account to use the free tools or to create a deck. If you do create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens under your account. Do not share an account in a way that lets someone else act as you. We may apply reasonable usage limits — per day, per email address, or per connection — to keep the service available for everyone and to stop automated abuse.

Acceptable use

  • Do not submit topics or content that are unlawful, abusive, defamatory, harassing, or that infringe someone else's rights.
  • Do not attempt to overload, flood, scrape, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or to get around its rate limits and access controls.
  • Do not resell generated decks as your own product, or present the service itself as yours.
  • Do not use the service to create material that misrepresents another person, or that impersonates an institution or a person you do not represent.

We may suspend or stop serving an order or an account that breaks these rules.

Academic honesty and AI content

This part matters more than the rest. Decks are generated by AI and are a first draft, not a finished submission. You are responsible for reading every slide, checking every fact, figure and citation, and correcting anything that is wrong, out of date or irrelevant. The AI can state things confidently that are not true.

  • Follow your college or university's rules on AI assistance. Where a submission must be your own unaided work, submitting a generated deck as if it were is not allowed and is not something we can support.
  • Do not present AI-written content as a factual source. Verify statistics against the original source before you rely on them.
  • How you declare your use of AI to your institution is your decision and your responsibility.

Payments and refunds

The service is free at the moment. If paid options are enabled, payment is made by UPI and verified manually by us, and no card details are ever collected. If you pay for something and it does not arrive, or the deck is unusable and we cannot fix it, contact us through the contact page and we will put it right, or refund the amount, case by case. Refunds are returned to the account the payment came from.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is. We do not promise that it will be available without interruption or free of errors, and it depends on third-party AI and email providers whose services can be slow or unavailable. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw any feature, including free ones, at any time. Where a change affects something you have already paid for, we will deal with it fairly.

Disclaimer and liability

We do not warrant that a generated deck will meet your institution's requirements or earn any particular grade — that is not something any generator can promise. To the extent the law allows, SlideForge is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including lost marks, lost time or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You can stop using SlideForge at any time. We may suspend or end your access, or refuse to serve an order, if you break these terms or if we are required to by law. If your access ends, the parts of these terms that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law — continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the Indian courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. When we do, we will change the date shown below. Continuing to use SlideForge after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Contact

Questions about these terms, a payment, or a deck that came out wrong go through the contact page. The privacy policy explains what we store and how to have it removed.
