A free PPT maker that hands you a real .pptx
Most free PPT makers give you a template and a watermark. Some export a picture of a slide instead of a presentation, and a few ask for a card before the download button works. What your college wants is a .pptx file you can open, edit and present from.
Build it free in about two minutes
No sign-up, no watermark, and a .pptx you can edit anywhere.
Create my presentationSlideForge starts from your topic instead of an empty template. It writes the slide-by-slide content, lays it out against a theme you pick, adds images related to the subject, and gives you an editable PowerPoint file in about two minutes. No account, no payment, no watermark.
4 steps, start to download
- 01
Describe the deck
Enter your topic, name, roll number, course and college, then choose the slide count and tone.
- 02
Review the outline
The AI proposes a slide-by-slide outline. Rewrite a heading or reorder a slide before anything is built.
- 03
Let it build
The deck is designed, illustrated with topic images and typographically set in the style you chose.
- 04
Download and edit
Save the .pptx or the PDF. Open the .pptx in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote or LibreOffice and change anything.
What a free PPT maker should actually give you
- A real .pptx file — not a PDF, not a screenshot, and not a locked deck that only opens in the tool that made it.
- No watermark on any slide. The title slide carries your name, roll number, course and college instead.
- No account and no card. You type an email only so the download link can reach you.
- Editable slides. Change a bullet, swap an image, move a text box — the file behaves like any other PowerPoint.
Where the time usually goes
Writing a deck from scratch is four jobs in one: deciding the structure, writing the content, finding images that actually match the topic, and making the slides look presentable. The first two take the longest, and they are the two a generator can genuinely do well.
That is why SlideForge writes the outline first and lets you review it. A deck with the wrong structure is worthless even if it looks good, and fixing a structure after twenty slides are designed is slower than fixing it before the build starts.
What to check before you submit
- Every statistic and named study. Verify the numbers in the deck against a source you can open — a generator drafts, it does not certify facts.
- Your citations. If your department requires a particular style, check the references slide and the in-text mentions match it.
- Your details. Confirm the spelling of your name, the roll number and the course on the title slide.
- The time limit. A slide a minute is a good ceiling for a seminar. A 25-slide deck in a 10-minute slot will be cut short.
- One read-through out loud. The practice timer at SlideForge can time each slide while you rehearse.
Common questions
- Is SlideForge really free?
- Yes. The generator is free for every student, there is no card, no trial period and no per-deck charge. You can build as many presentations as you need.
- Will my download have a watermark?
- No. The slides carry your own title-slide details and nothing else — no SlideForge logo and no AI label on any slide.
- Do I need Microsoft PowerPoint installed?
- No. The download is a standard .pptx file, which opens in Google Slides, Keynote, LibreOffice Impress and PowerPoint Online as well as the desktop version.
- Can I edit the slides after downloading?
- Yes, every slide is editable. Text, layouts, images and colours can all be changed in PowerPoint or Google Slides before you submit or present.
- How long does a deck take to generate?
- Most presentations finish in about two minutes. A longer deck or a very detailed topic can take a little more, and the tracking page shows which step is running.
